Having a good charging solution can make owning an EV an amazing experience and without it can really make it suck. Here are some solutions I recommend for getting the most out of your EV.
Wallbox Pulsar Plus (48A)
This is the charger I have at my house. It's hard-wired to a 60 amp circuit providing around 11kW of peak power output. This is more than enough for an overnight charger regardless of how big the battery is in your EV (looking at you Hummer)
Wallbox Pulsar Plus (40A plugin)
This is similar to the charger I have but has a bit lower peak power (still plenty for most EVs) and plugs into an existing NEMA 14-50 outlet. If you already have an outlet for an EV and just want a charger this is the option I would go with.
Tesla Adapter for J1772 Plug
This is necessary to plug your Tesla into the Wallbox charger as it uses the standard J1772 plug and Tesla uses it's own. Tesla used to provide one of these when you buy the car but now they don't, so you'll need this adapter. I also like to have an extra one that's always at home with my Wallbox charger so my other one can ride with me in the car.
