For the past year I have enjoyed some of the most varied and challenging work of my career. I was at Facebook on IPO day, I've spent countless nights exploring San Francisco, I presented on the keynote stage at the Tableau Customer Conference 2012 and I've mastered the airport security line.
And while I am grateful for all of those opportunities and experiences I have decided to take my passion for data and analysis to join a team of brilliant minds that continue to make the internet an open and safe place for us all, Mozilla. This was not an easy decision however it is one that I am genuinely excited about what the future holds.
At Mozilla, I will be a part of the Metrics team with a focus on analyzing vast amounts of data to help make the web a safer and more open place for everyone. There are some unique challenges in this next step as Mozilla is very strict about privacy and does not collect any user information making correlations and causal relationships tough to find. The work will undoubtedly lead to many more opportunities and experiences and with any luck, more great tools from Mozilla for you all to enjoy!
I wish the team at InterWorks the best with their future ventures as I know they will succeed and continue to grow as the dominant global services partner of Tableau Software's for years to come.
Cheers!
