Summary
I started this practice in the late 90′s when I found myself working full-time on the local reporting team for an MCI call center. From there I’ve grown and honed my skills in data modeling, analysis, visualization, and administration. I hope to continue on my quest for information nirvana wherever I find myself employed.

Experience
Leading the Business Intelligence team we have implemented a full-scale enterprise class BI solution from bottom to top. This includes an Enterprise Data Warehouse, ETL Auditing Framework, custom Data Quality Engine, and Tableau Server environment.
At Sharepoint360 I lead the Business Intelligence and Microsoft CRM implementation practices. In both cases I was usually the pre-sales engineer and the implementer.
My team and I handled all the data services of the company. This included a custom data integration platform we developed that took new customer implementations from 3 weeks to just 2 days.
Using the Microsoft BI stack I implemented the company’s first Reporting Services solution and dimensional data mart, kimball style.
Using the Microsoft Business Intelligence suite I developed and maintained all of our data warehousing and analytics environments. This included decreasing the nightly processing time to deliver insight to business stakeholders by 6am daily.
Contracting for Business Intelligence development I started working on reports from the Financial ERP solution and transitioned into analytics for the sales and operations groups.
At ICE I implemented the company’s first enterprise wide reporting and analytics platform using the Microsoft BI stack. This also included several Kimball method data marts.
MCI is where I grew up in the tech world. I started at the help desk and bounced around in the IT group for a while until I finally landed on the reporting team in 2002. From there I grew my database and web development skills which included a hand coded classic ASP reporting portal with SQL Server 7 as the backend.
